Emilia Higgs is an Italian/Chinese actor, improviser, voice artist and singer based on Gadigal land in Sydney Australia. She started improvising in 2013 becoming part of the comedy scene and member of the Theatresports crew at the University of Sydney. Since then she has studied at multiple institutions including NIDA and the Firenze Istituto di Drammatica in Italy, and has performed around Australia and overseas for audiences young and old, and in the venues that range from public parks to hospitals, as well as of course on the stage.

In her spare time Emilia loves to collect skills, which is probably why she chose to be an actor as it means constantly learning. She often meditates and rock climbs (both pictured) as well as practices Irish dancing, medieval sword fighting, archery and water colouring.

Though Emilia is looking to do more film and voice over work, you can still find her performing regularly in festivals, including the upcoming Sydney Comedy Festival in April and interactive shows such as Murder by the Sea at the Maritime Museum. Be sure to subscribe to Emilia’s newsletter on the Contact page to find out what you can see her in next.
